3 Common Towel Problems Everyone Faces
Towels are your best friends for everything! Be it wiping yourself clean after a shower or drying your hands quickly, you cannot miss interacting with your towels because they are always around. Sadly, before you can no longer imagine changing your towel, it starts to wear out or look old and you have to get a new one. Don’t worry because almost everyone faces the same problems when it comes to towels. Here are some of the issues all of us have faced with our towels and wish we don’t have to face them anymore!
1. Bad Odor
Towels tend to develop a permanent unpleasant order if they aren’t washed and dried properly. If wet towels aren’t dried properly, the odor of the water, sweat and cleaning gel does not escape the towel and becomes a part of the towel. Well, everyone does wash and dry their towels but sometimes we are in a hurry or need the towel again before it is ready to use again, yeah? However, using vinegar helps reduce the odor.
2. Rough and Tough Feel
Once your towels have spent a good amount of time with you, they tend to become rough and feel husky against the skin. Besides irresponsible washing, using inadequate or excessive detergents can cause the roughness of towels. Some towels lose their loose fibers after a few washes, leaving behind not-so-soft feel and texture. There is not much you can do about it, except investing in good quality towels that last longer.
3. Faded Color
After certain washes, towels may lose their brightness, shine and color. With constant use of detergents, softeners and improper drying, towels lose their color and shine. The aquamarine towel you bought for its color may not be aquamarine anymore or the towel you gifted to someone may not be as bright and soft as you thought it would. Although vinegar helps with keep towels fresh and soft, you must be smart in your purchases.
